How Not to Avoid Jury Duty

Erik Slye, 36, from Montana received a jury duty notice to which he took exception. He filled out a Request for Excuse form, had it notarized, and turned it in. The judge took exception to his request and summoned him to court where Erik apologized.

He was excused from the jury when he reported for duty.
