Nashville - Downtown

We finally made it to Nashville!  We've been wanting to go for awhile, but life kept getting in the way.   But we made it.

The AT&T building, affectionately called the Batman Building.
Our first meal was at Jack's BBQ at 4 in the afternoon.
After that, we found the nearest bar which was The Stage.  And we stayed there until deep into the night!  We had fun.
On another night, we ate at the B.B. King venue.  This man could play guitar!  Look at the clip I captured of him doing a Prince song...it is the last post in the Nashville series of posts below.
Another afternoon we heard this band while we killed time waiting for another event.  They were good.
Broadway - the center of the nightlight action in Nashville.  Live bands in virtually every bar starting at 11 AM!  Daily!

The Ryman Auditorium that we walked by often but never stopped in. Next time!
Another bar we found ourselves in.

But here is my favorite:  Robert's Western World.

This was classic country music from the 1940s or so...wonderful!   Listen to the clips in the last post of my Nashville series.
We've heard that this is the bar where the locals hang out, and I believe it.  Very fun place!
