Nashville - Grand Ole Opry

And no trip to Nashville would be complete without seeing the Grand Ole Opry, so we went on a Tuesday night.  Had pretty good seats thanks to StubHub!

Each band played 3 songs.
 First up was The Whites.
 Second: Levi Hummo.
Dustin Lynch was very good...really enjoyed his songs.

My wife recognized her immediately as Rita Wilson - she is apparently an actress on a few shows my wife watches.

She was also a pretty gifted singer, as she proved that night.
Her husband is Tom Hanks and we thought we saw him in the shadows just off stage, though it could have been our imagination.  It would make sense he would be there, though, as this was Rita's first appearance at the Grand Ole Opry.
 The Del McCoury Band.
This is Ashley McBryde.  She is one talented woman.  Voice was just awesome!

We may have to pick up some of her music...
Another favorite of mine that night was Tracy Lawrence.
He apparently has been in country music for awhile, and it showed - he was very polished and the songs were super.
We rounded out the night with Rascal Flatts.  Going in, this was the only band name I recognized.  But I didn't know any of the songs they played.  The audience sure did though.

Overall a very enjoyable evening.  One note to the GOO:  get better seats!  My butt was numb after 2 hours.
