Friday nights out to dinner with the family continues to be a great way to wind down a busy week.
Here's Troy waiting for his dinner at Pizza Nova one night.
Teo patiently waiting for his.
And a shot of them both!
Troy's soccer team (Iron Men) had a pizza party at Killer Pizza from Mars to celebrate a great season. Here are Troy and Teo enjoying pizza with the team.

Thanksgiving
We started the preparation for Thanksgiving the night before. Pumpkin donuts being made for the next morning! Mary and Troy are hard at work making sure everything will be perfect.
As usual, the kitchen became the gathering spot as the evening progressed. From left: Dave, Troy, Mary with our soon to be 3rd grandson, Ron, and Laura.
Back to work! Troy and Mary conversing.
Cooper assisted!
Thanksgiving morning! Busy as bees...
Everything is ready - time for a group photo!
Back row: Laura, Dave, Ron, Mary
Front row: Troy and Teo
Back row: Jerald, Dave, Laura, Mary (two months to due date!)
Front row: Troy and Teo
Teo is at an age where he usually doesn't like posing for photos...
It was a beautiful day outside.
Dave's new truck!
After dinner Rummikub.

Del Mar Races
We've lived in San Diego for decades, and the first time we went to the races together was this year - and we made it twice! Once on opening day, and now again in November. My company paid for this trip, and we are very thankful. A lot of fun!
We arrived early to pick a spot we liked, and decide the patio outside the restaurant was best.
The view inside the restaurant my company rented was nice, but the view of the track was limited.
Co'workers started arriving and the party was on!
The deck outside was where the real fun was.
Back to our favorite spot...
And now, a few shots of the main attraction: the horses.

Nashville - Downtown
We finally made it to Nashville! We've been wanting to go for awhile, but life kept getting in the way. But we made it.
The AT&T building, affectionately called the Batman Building.
Our first meal was at Jack's BBQ at 4 in the afternoon.
After that, we found the nearest bar which was The Stage. And we stayed there until deep into the night! We had fun.
On another night, we ate at the B.B. King venue. This man could play guitar! Look at the clip I captured of him doing a Prince song...it is the last post in the Nashville series of posts below.
Another afternoon we heard this band while we killed time waiting for another event. They were good.
Broadway - the center of the nightlight action in Nashville. Live bands in virtually every bar starting at 11 AM! Daily!
The Ryman Auditorium that we walked by often but never stopped in. Next time!
Another bar we found ourselves in.
But here is my favorite: Robert's Western World.
This was classic country music from the 1940s or so...wonderful! Listen to the clips in the last post of my Nashville series.
We've heard that this is the bar where the locals hang out, and I believe it. Very fun place!

Nashville - Country Music Hall of Fame
We visited the Country Music Hall of Fame while in Nashville.
They had a great set of displays that we really enjoyed.
Not only did they have an Elvis Cadillac limo, they had a Burt Reynolds Trans Am!
But the best part where the displays. My wife enjoying one of them.
I only took photos of a very small fraction of what is there....you'll have to see the rest on your own.
Roger Miller's awards.
Johnny Cash guitars.
