We went to see Chris Stapleton on Saturday night - what a great show! We were in our seats early so we could relax and get comfortable.
It worked - the beer and wine did the trick!
He had a simple stage setup - with music as fantastic as his, that is all that is needed.
The last time I saw that many cowboy hats and boots in one place was when I lived in Oklahoma!
He played every song we expected and we were very pleased to hear them.
He can sure belt out a tune!
Chris was at the top of his game.
And it showed.
I believe he said that is his wife at the mic.
He is a man of few words between songs - he lets the music do the talking.
All too soon, it was over.
Let's rewind and see the opening act: Molly Tuttle.
Molly has a strong bluegrass sound to her music. We liked it so much we are going to buy some of her music!
She played original material as well as songs from Joni Mitchell and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.
