Of all the concerts I've seen over the years, I only bought a t-shirt at two or three concerts. And of those, only one remains in my possession.
On Feb 24, 1979, I bought this t-shirt at the Rush Hemispheres tour, at their concert at the Fairgrounds Pavilion in Oklahoma City.
It has remained in my drawer, made 11 moves with me, and is still in great shape.
Alas, it doesn't fit me any more.
But I'm still going to keep it.
The Rush drummer, Neil Peart, died yesterday of brain cancer. He will truly be missed by me and the legions of Rush fans everywhere. And he was a great lyricist.
