We started this particular day with a trip to Battery Park, where we were to catch the ferry to Liberty Island.
We were blown away by the beauty of the place.

The security checkpoint prior to boarding the ferry. The line for ticket holders was about 15 minutes long. For non-ticket holders? I would estimate between one and two hours long! Buy tix in advance!
