The Dead South are four men from Saskatchewan.
Their most famous song is "In Hell I'll Be In Good Company".
Most times I think music videos detract from a great song, but in the case of this song I think it adds to the song. Look it up on YouTube!
Staring straight at the camera.
Taking photos was difficult as their light effects changed very rapidly. When I saw a great lit scene, it was often gone by the time I had the camera ready to shoot.
The crowd really enjoyed the show.
Let's get intense.
And more intense!
Though it doesn't show up in this view, there were quite a few cowboy hats and women dressed to the nines. The audience was a wide range of ages from 10 all the way up. We were probably close to the oldest couple there.

We sat dead center to the stage. The area in front of us was standing room only - not our style, we are too old for that! We had nice seats, a table to sit our drinks on, and a server! Doesn't get better than that.
The opening band was Angry Zeta.
They are a band from Argentina we had never heard before.
They sang half the songs in Spanish and I have idea how to describe their style. They describe it as bluegrass, country, hillbilly, street busker, punk and rock. I could hear a little bit of all of that in their songs.
It was fun to watch but I'm not sure I'll be rushing out to buy their music.
