Milan: Hotel dei Cavalieri

This is where we stayed in Milan - Hotel dei Cavalieri. The main door is round the corner (curve?) to the left of the yellow canopies.
Walking in that direction, we can now see the Cavalieri sign flowing down the side of the building.
This is a very upscale hotel catering to business clientele. Standing outside of our room this is the view down the hallway in one direction...
...this is the view down the hallway in the other direction.
And finally, this is the elevator hallway.
Step inside our room, won't you? Very nice furnishings.
 A comfortable bed.
A small but well appointed desk.
The courtesy bar, TV, and closet.
The front doorway with our luggage.
For anything electric to work in the room, we had to insert our door key in a slot in the room.
Here's a peek at the bathroom.
 Very clean and well kept.
Doin' it Euro Style: a bidet.
And wifey's least favorite blow drier style, apparently installed all over Europe!
Traditional European bathtub, with the "I've fallen and I can't get up" pull chain. I shouldn't laugh, I'll probably end up needing that chain some day.
This is the view out our window...we never did make it over to see what the dome was about.
Lowering the camera a bit, we begin to see a glimpse of the piazza below.
The hotel is located at Piazza Missouri 1, with a subway stop nearby. This photo was taken early one morning, with many Milanians on their way to work.
Shifting the camera a little to the left one can see the numerous motorcycles brought in that morning.
Professionals crossing the piazza on their way to work.
Two mass transit surface trains, passing right outside our window (they were very quiet, actually. and very clean!).
