We took Troy, Teo and Dave down to Grand Avenue this weekend. Here are a few photos of the boys hula-hooping and enjoying dinner, followed by a few photos of the fantastic cars on display.

Wedding Weekend: Flying To Chico
We're off to Ron & Mary's wedding! Everyone is pretty excited as we wait in the San Diego airport.
Here is Teo returning to his seat after checking to see if our plan has arrived.
The boys were as good as gold on the plane. Teo on his mother's lap.
Troy after pulling the shade down to I could take a photo.
At the Sacramento airport getting ready to find our luggage.

Wedding Weekend: The City of Chico
The city of Chico is gorgeous. Basically a college and farming town founded well over 100 years ago, it is big enough to have things to do yet small enough to feel safe and easy to traverse. Right after we checked into the Hotel Diamond, we went to the Farmer's Market that happened to be going at that time. A clown gave Troy and Teo balloons.
They were thrilled!
The town is clean and safe enough and feels as though it moves at a couple paces slower than San Diego. Which is fine by us - it's nice to slow down once in awhile.
There are even a few nice cars running around.
For being a college town, there are a surprising number of things for little kids to do also. At the Chico Mall for example, there is a pretty nice play area that Teo and Troy fully utilized.

Wedding Weekend: Caper Acres
One of the gems of Chico is a park called Caper Acres.
We take the grandkids to this well-maintained park every time we visit, and they adore the place.
It has some of the most unique equipment I've seen.
Teo in the tower for a slide.
As Teo says, "weeee!"
On this particular day, the Boys & Girls Club was visiting. We are big fans of the B&G C, as our kids spent much time there growing up.
Teo and his smile!
Peeking out of the dragon fish!
Time to go to the fort!
We had a hard time keeping up with him. Here's Lucy trying her best to keep up.
We think this used to be a fountain that is now capped off.
Teo joining Troy in the sandbox.
And Teo's off again.
Troy: Where'd they go?
Dave: I dunno.
Back to the fort! Lucy keeping an eye on Teo.
Teo: Where's my mom?
Found her!
